AIHFS' 3rd Annual Charity Gala is poised to be a catalyst for positive change in Michigan, improving the quality of life and healthcare access for diverse communities. Through this event, attendees will gain a heightened awareness of the unique challenges faced by Native American communities and underserved populations in urban areas, while also drawing inspiration from the innovative solutions shared by the keynote panel of Urban Indian Thought Leaders. The proceeds from the gala will provide vital financial support for AIHFS, facilitating the expansion of healthcare services, programs, and resources, directly benefiting AI/AN individuals and families, as well as other underserved populations in Metro Detroit. Moreover, this gathering will foster networking and collaboration opportunities among stakeholders, healthcare professionals, and community leaders, leading to the development of comprehensive and culturally sensitive healthcare services tailored to the needs of Michigan's diverse communities. It will also empower attendees to become advocates for change and influence policies that enhance healthcare access and reduce disparities. Ultimately, the event will promote good health and well-being for Michigan residents, with a focus on cultural competence and inclusivity. The event will take place at The Garden Theater in Detroit, and a silent auction will be held. We are actively seeking event sponsors and silent auction item donations.
