Event:
Camp Monarch

Just like the seasons change, so does our grief…

OPEN TO ALL COMMUNITY MEMBERS – FREE OF CHARGE

Camp Monarch’s goal is to provide a supportive and therapeutic experience in a fun camp environment where kids can find healing and hope after loss… and maybe discover an adventure!

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

Camp Monarch is open to children ages 5-12 who have experienced the loss of a loved one. Children grieve differently than adults, and often feel alone among their peers. Surrounded by kids around their own age who know what they’re going through, our campers will gain a new sense of camaraderie and confidence.

PRESENTED BY OUR FRIENDLY GRIEF CARE TEAM

Our licensed social workers and certified therapists will share tools for coping with the difficult feelings of grief, and coordinate therapeutic activities to foster healing and growth.

ENGAGING, AGE-APPROPRIATE ACTIVITIES

Throughout the two days there will be music therapy, arts and crafts, snacks and lunch, games, and other activities.
