Urban Peers Learning Integrity For Tomorrow Program

The purpose of the Drop the Gun Pick up the Mic event is for the community to surround and support the youth and families affected by gun violence or other traumatic situations. These traumas induce situations that include mental health issues such as depression, anger, suicidal ideation, bullying, obesity, teen Pregnancy, etc. The “4th annual Back to School Prayer/Talent Show” youth resource fair is a great opportunity for the youth of our community to learn about ways to make better mental health decisions and maintain healthier lifestyles.
