Friends of the Rouge

Who's calling in your neck of the woods? Learn your local Frog & Toad calls and being a part of the citizen scientist movement to track the health of the Rouge River and its surrounding wetlands.  Frog & Toad survey training is offered every spring for those who would like to commit to surveying wetlands twice a month March through July and record what species of frogs and toads are calling. Information and materials are provided at the annual trainings.
