A Gospel Brunch: “Voices for the Soul: A Gospel Brunch for Advocacy, Health, and Change.” Honoring the legacy of Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune

Join us for our Founder's Day Celebration: “Voices for the Soul: A Gospel Brunch for Advocacy, Health, and Change”  as we come together to celebrate the legacy of Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune and support our impactful programs!

This year’s Founder’s Day Gospel Brunch will take place on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at 11:30 AM at Fellowship Chapel, located in Detroit, MI. The event theme, "Voices for the Soul: A Gospel Brunch for Advocacy, Health, and Change," encapsulates the spirit of the occasion. This special event will feature an uplifting gospel performance, a powerful keynote by Rev. Cindy Rudolph, Senior Pastor, Oak Grove AME Church and an opportunity to support the NCNW-Detroit Section’s critical programs.A key highlight of the event will be the presentation of the Mary McLeod Bethune Leadership Award, recognizing young African American leaders who exemplify the pillars of good character: Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring, and Citizenship.

Your performance will be a key element in making this event an inspiring and uplifting experience. Gospel music has the unique power to touch hearts and unite us in faith, hope, and action. We are thrilled that you will share your gifts with us as we celebrate the rich legacy of leadership and service that Dr. Bethune established.
