Give up your bed for one night
so youth facing homelessness
can sleep safely at Covenant House.
On Thursday, Nov. 21, teams and individuals across North America will commit to giving up the comfort of their bed and take part in the Annual Sleep Out to raise awareness and support for youth experiencing homelessness. Locally, Covenant House Michigan (CHMI) in Detroit is the host site for our 11th Annual Sleep Out, in addition to sleepers participating from a variety of locations across the state.
The Sleep Out is part of a nationwide event taking place that night in 17 cities at Covenant House sites across North and Central America. Participants from Anchorage to New York and Vancouver to Guatemala will come together to raise awareness and funds to support Covenant House’s life-changing work helping young people leave the streets and begin new lives.
Funds raised by the participants will help further the unconditional love, absolute respect, relentless support, and vital services for homeless, abandoned, trafficked, and exploited youth provided by Covenant House.
