YMCA of Metropolitan Detroit

This year's event takes place on Sunday, May18th at Lake St. Claire Metropark. 

To ensure a successful event, we need 150+ volunteers!  As a volunteer, you can pass out water to thirsty runners, give out high fives at the finish line, or help our staff with morning registrations and merchandise. Arrival times vary depending on the volunteer position.

The run begins at 9:00 am and will end by noon.

Parking passes will be provided to volunteers to enter the park

You can sign up for the following categories. Asterisks indicate high need. 

**Course Marshal - cheer kids on and make sure they head the right direction on the course

**Water Stop - hand out cups of water at the halfway point

**Celebration station - spray happy hair, put on temporary tattoos, or help runners "bling their bib"

Finish Line - hand out snacks and high fives at the finish line

Wave Leader - Lead zones to the start line.
