Who We Are:
Are you someone that enjoys making a difference in the world with your graphic design skills? Life for Relief and Development (LIFE) is a global humanitarian relief organization, headquartered in Southfield, Michigan. LIFE is dedicated to providing humanitarian aid to people regardless of race, gender, religion and cultural background. As a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, LIFE is in Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations.

We are currently looking for a talented and creative designer with a passion for producing visual concepts to communicate ideas that illustrate the charity work we do globally. An ideal candidate will create digital media content by editing photos and videos, as well as designing email campaigns, printed media and website graphics.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Create and design print and digital materials
• Adhere to organization guidelines and complete projects according to deadline
• Retouch and manipulate images
• Use graphic design software such as: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, After Effects, Dreamweaver
• Work with a wide variety of media such as: photos, videos, brochures, email campaigns and more
• Work with the media team on projects with time-sensitive deadlines
• Attend weekly meetings with the Media Team

• Basic knowledge of layouts, typography, line composition, color, and other graphic design fundamentals
• Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, After Effects, Dreamweaver
• Strong creative and analytical skills
• Compelling portfolio of graphic design work

• Work on a wide range of graphic design projects
