Intern for Round Up Campaign

We need an intern who can reach out to businesses that participate in round up campaigns to find a minimum of 1-2 that will agree to partner with us. A round up campaign is one where customers are allowed to round up their change (or total) at checkout to benefit a non-profit. It is a form of fundraising that has proven successful for us.

We will provide all necessary details and instructions, along with tips for success. This work can be done remotely, but will require phone calls, emails, and often site visits. Intern must be comfortable engaging with people and ideally have access to a car for site visits to engage with a store manager directly, or to drop off a letter of inquiry.

Ideal businesses to target: grocery stores, drug stores, local garden stores, hardware stores. However, we are open to suggestions.

Looking for interns who can commit at least 1-2 months of time for ample opportunity for outreach and follow-through. Suitable for ages 16+. Great opportunity for class project, or service learning requirement.
