Mentor An Elementary Student!

Build a relationship with our amazing students! Virtually, mentors work one on one in zoom breakout rooms with an elementary student to read books and complete literacy activities. Mentor and student pairings are consistent throughout the year to enable deep relationships and rapport. The commitment is at least one time weekly for the duration of the school year with the same student. Sessions take place after school at times including 3:30, 4:00, 4:30, 5:00, 5:30, and 6:00. There are also opportunities for substitute mentoring if you are unable to make a weekly commitment. Mentors are asked to complete a mentor training, participate in a Mentoring for Equity workshop, and complete a background check. All materials and resources are provided during the mentor training.
