What We Do

Bailey Park Neighborhood Development Corporation (BPNDC) is a 501c3 nonprofit that serves the McDougall-Hunt neighborhood of Detroit through grassroots services that meet the needs and desires of local residents. Our services are located in our community hub that supports the ongoing growth and development of the community, including youth and low-income families living in the McDougall-Hunt area. Projects and Activities: Community landscaping which is led by residents who earn an income to provide landscaping and blight removal services. Project Upskill - Salesforce Administration Certification - providing more advanced skills through additional education and training. Tech Savvy Seniors Virtual or in person weekly classes that will help residents 55+ to increase their technology skills. Math & English tutoring for youths- Virtual or in person weekly classes that will helping students to have improved test scores. Monthly Food Box distribution- In partnership with Gleaners. McDougall-Hunt hot plates - hot prepared food delivered to seniors in the community Community engagement activities
