What We Do
Forward Youth is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that serves under-represented youth in the Wayne
County, Michigan area. Our mission is to inspire young people to keep learning, keep
growing, and to always move forward by providing free comprehensive afterschool
programming. The Forward Youth After School program focuses on financial
literacy, mentorship, and enrichment. The FYAS program is built around the social-emotional learning method and aims to keep youth safe and productive during after
school hours.
