What We Do

The Heidelberg Project is an neighbrohood-based non-profit in Detroit, serving individuals across the world with arts education, community development and cultlural awareness. Our programs partner with local community organizations and faith-based institutions, public, charter and alternative schools in Detroit, national and international companies, colleges and universities.

Interesting Info

Our art environment in Detroit's southeast McDougall-Hunt Neighborhood has been visited by tourists representing 144 countries!
Our HALA program has helped to build youth leadership skills in over 300 Detroit students and youth in grades 4-12 since program inception in 2018.
The Heidelberg Project is working to advance its mission by creating the City's first neighborhood arts district.
