What We Do

HOPE is a "low-barrier" homeless shelter (we do not exclude people based on sobriety or bad background) with embedded case management to assure safe and judgment-free shelter, innovative programs and public advocacy to end homelessness. HOPE accepts guests where they are and in real time.

Interesting Info
  • HOPE is the only "low-barrier" shelter in Oakland County (we do not exclude people based on sobriety or bad background).
  • HOPE serves 75 guests each night with more than 200 guests per year exiting the shelter to a place they can call home -- and keep as their home.
  • HOPE plans to build a new shelter addressing virus safety and behavioral health so that more people can succeed at resolving homelessness.
