What We Do

HOPE is a "low-barrier" homeless shelter (we do not exclude people based on sobriety or bad background) with embedded case management to assure safe and judgment-free shelter, innovative programs and public advocacy to end homelessness. HOPE accepts guests where they are and in real time.

HOPE is the only "low-barrier" shelter in Oakland County (we do not exclude people based on sobriety or bad background).
HOPE serves 75 guests each night with more than 200 guests per year exiting the shelter to a place they can call home -- and keep as their home.
HOPE plans to build a new shelter addressing virus safety and behavioral health so that more people can succeed at resolving homelessness.
