What We Do

Pontiac has a deep legacy in wheeled-vehicles starting with carriages as early as 1845 and continuing to a total of 44 different companies that did wheeled vehicles. This museum is under development to portray that history which the Pontiac Community should take great pride in. Our mission also envisions a role to provide STEM/STEAM-related education outreach and attract visitors, providing economic development for Pontiac, MI.

Interesting Info

Our 55,000 sq ft building already has about 55 cars and trucks in it, including some very unique historical properties.
Pontiac had at least 44 different vehicle manufacturers - this includes carriages, a huge variety of trucks, coaches, motorcycles, and many prominent cars!
This museum can re-invigorate pride in Pontiac, inspire young people in STEAM topics, and enable economic growth.
