Detroit Horse Power

Arise Detroit is hosting its annual Neighborhoods Day. Neighborhoods Day is a day where block clubs, churches, schools, community groups, and local businesses spend the day cleaning up and beautifying their neighborhoods all across Detroit. Every year, Detroit Horse Power joins our local nonprofit neighbor, Demographic Inspirations, to complete beautification projects in Hope Village for Neighborhoods Day. Hope Village is the neighborhood where our future facility will be located. Detroit Horse Power is not only committed to bringing horses to the city, but being involved in projects that strengthen the community where our students grow up. 

This year, we are looking for volunteers to help with the project listed on the flyer below. We will be outside, so sunscreen, tennis shoes, and weatherproof attire is suggested. No waivers are needed.
