Are you a student or recent graduate passionate about event planning, creating engaging experiences, and making an impact? The Austin Foundation is looking for an Event Experience Intern to help design and develop interactive, meaningful experiences at our events that empower youth and young adults with life skills, mental health awareness, financial literacy, and personal growth —helping students prepare for college, trade careers, or the workforce through our nonprofit programs.
As an Event Experience Intern, you’ll play a hands-on role in bringing our events to life—ensuring they are engaging, impactful, and memorable for participants. From workshops and networking events to community outreach programs, your creativity and planning skills will help us deliver unforgettable experiences that inspire and educate.
You will be able to:
🎟️ Design & develop interactive and engaging event experiences.
📋 Assist with event planning & logistics to ensure smooth execution.
💡 Brainstorm creative activities that connect with young adults and reinforce our mission.
🎤 Collaborate with speakers, facilitators, and volunteers to enhance event programming.
📢 Gather feedback to improve future events and participant engagement.
🤝 Work closely with our team to create meaningful and inclusive experiences.
We are looking for:
✔️ A student or recent graduate in event planning, hospitality, marketing, communications, or a related field.
✔️ Passion for creating engaging experiences and bringing ideas to life.
✔️ Strong organization and problem-solving skills.
✔️ Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
✔️ Bonus: Experience with event technology, interactive media, or nonprofit events is a plus!

Details:
📍 Hybrid or in-person opportunities available (based on location).
🕒 10-15 hours per week.
