Overview
We are looking for a Program Assistant to join our team at The Austin Foundation. The Program Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to our program-related activities and helping to ensure that all program-related tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain accurate records of program activities and progress
- Coordinate with program staff to ensure timely completion of program-related tasks
- Monitor and evaluate program outcomes and make recommendations for improvement
- Liaise with external partners and stakeholders as needed
- Research and analyze best practices for program delivery
- Develop and implement strategies to increase program awareness and engagement
- Provide administrative support to program staff, including scheduling meetings and preparing meeting materials
- Maintain and update program-related databases and documents
- Develop and update program-related reports and presentations
- Assist with grant applications and reporting
Qualifications
- College students entering their junior or senior year, studying Communications, Sociology, or a related field
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and databases
- Knowledge of social media platforms for program promotion and engagement
- Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to think critically and exercise sound judgement
