Are you a student or recent graduate passionate about using data to drive social change? The Austin Foundation is seeking a Data Analytics Intern to help measure program success, track community impact, and support our mission of empowering youth and young adults with life skills, mental health awareness, financial literacy, and personal growth—preparing them for college, trade careers, or the workforce.

As a Data Analytics Intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience working with data that informs nonprofit decision-making, supports funding opportunities, and improves the effectiveness of programs that serve high school students transitioning to adulthood.

You will be able to:

📊 Analyze & interpret data to measure program outcomes and impact.
📉 Track & report key performance indicators (KPIs) for engagement and outreach.
🔍 Support grant writing by providing data-driven insights on program effectiveness.
📂 Organize & manage survey results, participation records, and impact reports.
💡 Create visualizations & dashboards to communicate findings in a clear, compelling way.
🤝 Collaborate with our team to use data for improving services and outreach.

We are looking for:

✔️ A student or recent graduate in data analytics, statistics, nonprofit management, business, or a related field.
✔️ Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
✔️ Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
✔️ Interest in nonprofit impact measurement, social causes, and program evaluation.
✔️ Bonus: Experience with survey analysis or SQL is a plus!

Details:

📍 Remote or hybrid opportunities available (based on location).
🕒 10-15 hours per week.
💡 Unpaid internship (can qualify for course credit—check with your school).
