MiSide Community Impact Network, in partnership with Family Alliance for Change, Youth United, Assured Family Services and the Detroit Wayne Integrated Health Network, will host its annual school supply drive, Backpacks for Dreams. The Detroit-based nonprofit has a goal of collecting 1,200 sets of supplies to support students during the 2024-2025 school year, which includes a premium backpack and a primary, elementary or middle/high school set of school supplies.
Now through July 31, supporters can purchase backpacks and school supplies kits through MiSide’s online donation portal at https://bit.ly/Fulfilling_Dreams. A donation of $27 will help provide one backpack filled with a variety of school supplies including pencils, crayons, erasers, glue sticks, notebooks, folders and more.
