Brilliant Detroit

Earth Day is a wonderful opportunity to raise awareness of the climate crisis and the importance of conservation, sustainability and caring for our planet. We will use this opportunity to educate kids and families about environmental concerns and to show them what actions they can take to better our environment, globally and locally. We will do this through story reading, crafts and fun educational activities.

Volunteers are needed to help with activities and work alongside families, building connections and fostering community collaboration. The celebration will be broken down into four volunteer shifts: 8:30am-11am, 12 pm-2pm, 2pm-4pm, 4pm-6:30pm.
