Volunteer Opportunity:
Collection Drive for Holiday Giving

During the months of November and December, IVC volunteers deliver non-perishable food items, toiletries, and small gifts to homebound seniors and disabled adults to brighten up their holiday. We are looking for individuals/groups to do a collection drive or make donations of these items so that we can have a plentiful and successful holiday giving season! Please see below for examples on things to donate: 


Most requested food items: Canned Tuna, Chicken and Other Meats, Canned Fruits & Vegetables, Peanut Butter & Jelly, Hot & Cold Cereals, Pasta & Canned Sauce, Packaged Cookies & Crackers, Pudding, Gelatin & Fruit Cups, Microwavable Meals, Rice, Noodle & Potato Packets, Soups & Ramen,  Protein Drinks (“Ensure” Type), Other non-perishable items-in smaller sizes and non-glass containers

Ideas for toiletries: Dishwashing Liquid, Laundry Detergent, Toilet Paper, Paper Towel, Soap, Toothpaste, Shampoo, Any other toiletries

Ideas for gifts: Socks, Gloves, Hats,  Slippers with grips on bottom, Scarves, Candy/treats, Deck of cards,  Anything else you can think of!
