Sign up to take a shelter dog out for a few hours, the entire day, or even overnight for a slumber party! The choice is yours. Simply sign up, show up, and FAMD will provide you with a doggy companion along with the items needed for a fun and safe day out.
We will be returning to the original style program that people loved, including car service, and you no longer have to be a FAMD Volunteer to participate in Doggy Day Out!
- Our Doggy Day Out program will be offered 7 days a week, but the daily opportunities will vary due to FAMD schedules and events.
- FAMD will provide a Doggy Day Out backpack with a seatbelt, leash, harness, coupler, waste bags, and foldable water bowl, but the participant must provide treats and toys.
