SAY Detroit

EAT Detroit showcases our city’s diverse culinary scene with a one-night only foodie experience to benefit our city's neediest. Enjoy tasting dishes and craft drinks at Detroit's top restaurants and help the initiatives of SAY Detroit that provide pathways to success for Detroiters in need.

EAT Detroit is powered by generous volunteers who join us as transportation guides, route ambassadors, restaurants hosts and other key roles. Without you, this event would not be possible. Volunteers will be outfitted in EAT Detroit chefs' aprons (which you may keep as a souvenir). A box dinner will also be provided.

If you'd like to join SAY Detroit as a volunteer, please go to the link above and select a shift in step 2 for:

• Transportation Volunteers: Shuttle Bus Hosts, Shuttle Bus Stop Greeters, Route Ambassadors
• Check-in Helpers

We will assign volunteers a specific sub-role (i.e., a specific shuttle bus, route, stop, or check-in duty).

AND

• Optional in-person Orientation on June 1 (If you later cannot make it, just let us know).

If you are from a SAY Detroit partner charitable organization and have been asked to serve as a restaurant host/VIP, or have been contacted directly to fulfill a specific volunteer role, please skip step 2 and just join the opportunity. We'll work to assign your specific shift from the administrative side.

As the face of SAY Detroit, our volunteers are key to the success of EAT Detroit. Your most important role is to smile and enjoy the event!
