Year long commitment, Lead of the Program Committee
Responsibilities
i. Schedule and attend Program Committee meetings
ii. Develop annual fundraising strategy (e.g. - merchandise sales, special events, sponsorship opportunities, etc)
iii. Find, create and implement fundraising opportunities throughout the Region that help to spread breast density education to a large audience while raising funds to sustain the nonprofit.
iv. Assists with leading current annual fundraising events – hot yoga, yoga on the lake, pink party, etc
1. coordinate with advertising committee for flyers/post about event
2. obtain food for event
3. Ensure volunteer attendance with volunteer coordinator
4. Working with the Special Events Committee, coordinate fundraising events
Requirements
i. Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related area ( or student )
ii. experience in fundraising and/or nonprofit work
iii. Solid ability in both written and verbal communication.
iv. Excellent Personal Relations and communications Skills
v. 2-6 hours of work a week that can be committed to the nonprofit
