Volunteer Opportunity:
Newborn Hearing Screening Volunteer
I'm Interested!

Since 1993, The Holley Institute's Newborn Hearing Screening Program has been screening infants born at Henry Ford St. John Hospital. Screening infants for hearing loss is typically done through a painless test called a "newborn hearing screening," shortly after birth and uses sophisticated machines to assess the baby's hearing ability; if a baby doesn't pass the initial screening, further evaluation by an audiologist is recommended. Our volunteers are highly trained to conduct these tests Monday through Friday.
