Marketing Coordinator

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing Coordinator to join our team at D House of Angels. As the Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to raise awareness of our organization, attract volunteers, donors, and community partners, and promote our programs and services. You will play a crucial role in expanding our reach and impact in supporting survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute marketing plans and campaigns to promote D House of Angels' mission, programs, and events across various channels, including social media, email, website, and traditional media.
  2. Create engaging content, including social media posts, blog articles, newsletters, and press releases, to highlight our organization's impact, success stories, and upcoming initiatives.
  3. Manage and maintain D House of Angels' social media accounts, including content creation, posting schedules, and community engagement.
  4. Collaborate with the fundraising team to develop and implement campaigns to attract donors and sponsors, including online fundraisers, crowdfunding campaigns, and donor appreciation events.
  5. Coordinate with graphic designers, photographers, and videographers to create visual content, such as infographics, videos, and testimonials, to support marketing efforts.
  6. Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, including website traffic, social media engagement, and email open rates, to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing strategies and make data-driven decisions.
  7. Cultivate and maintain relationships with media outlets, community organizations, and influencers to secure coverage and partnerships that amplify our message and reach new audiences.
  8. Stay informed about trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in marketing and nonprofit communications to continuously improve our marketing efforts and stay ahead of the curve.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or related field. (not Required but experience preferred)
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the nonprofit sector or social services.
  • Proven track record of creating and executing successful marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and compellingly.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools, email marketing platforms, and content management systems.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for design and storytelling.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Passion for social justice, advocacy, and supporting survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
