Year long commitment , attend operations committee meetings - virtually once every 2 months
Responsibilities
i. assist with recruiting medical student volunteers to the organization
ii. assist with advertising for volunteers on different platform
iii. obtaining contact with local Medical Schools to recruit volunteers
vi. maintaining accurate contact information and records of Medical student volunteer participation at events.
viii. Disseminate information for upcoming actions and events
Requirements
i. Experience in volunteering locally and/or internationally
ii. Experience in recruiting through various channels (handshake, sharedetroit)
iii. Working knowledge of databases and MS Office (especially Excel)
iv. Able to communicate effectively with diverse people
v. Excellent organizational and team coordination abilities
vi. 2-6 hours of work a week that can be committed to the nonprofit
