Volunteer Opportunity:
Futuro Fit
I'm Interested!

At MiHC, we’ve heard firsthand from students about the need for professional clothing. Many universities offer only short-term rentals, leaving first-generation, low-income students without long-term access to the attire they need for interviews, internships, and professional events. Beyond academic support, we want to help set students up for success by providing them with professional clothing they can keep.

Thanks to generous donations from our partners, we are building a professional clothing closet at MiHC! Now, we need volunteers to help organize and prepare the donated clothing.

Volunteer Tasks Include:

  • Sorting and organizing professional clothing and shoes
  • Steaming and prepping clothing to ensure it’s ready for students
  • Assisting with donation intake and inventory management
  • Picking up and dropping off donations

How You Can Help:

  • Sign up to volunteer in the MiHC suite to help sort and prepare clothes.
  • Spread the word! Let us know if you know of companies or organizations willing to host clothing drives.

Students will be able to pick out three professional clothing items per month. Your help will make a direct impact on their confidence and success!

If you're interested in volunteering or have clothing to donate, please fill out the following form or reach out. Let’s make a difference together!
