Volunteer Opportunity:
Pass Out 1,000 Labor Day BBQ Meal Kits
This opportunity has passed.
For the 3rd year in a row, Higher Hopes! is distributing 1,000 Labor Day BBQ meal kits to 1,000 families with children enrolled in Head Start programs in Detroit. Distribution will take place at three locations around the city, and recipients of the meal kits will drive up to collect. Volunteers work in an assembly line to load everything into the trunks of the cars.
Volunteers should arrive at 12:30 for their shift, and the event runs until 4:00 pm on Friday, September 1.
