This opportunity has passed.
Camp Casey is a 20-year old nonprofit organization that brings horses into the lives of children with cancer, sickle cell disease, and other life-threatening illnesses (camp-casey.org).
One of Camp Casey’s programs, Horsey House Calls, delivers “horse camp” to the homes of children who are often too sick to attend regular summer camp. We knock on the door and surprise the camper with a horse at their home for an afternoon filled with fun! Horsey House Calls take place multiple times a week, primarily on weekends, from June to September.
Creating lasting memories is a core component of Horsey House Calls, which is why the photographer plays such an important role! The photographer helps capture all the magical moments of this very special day.
To fill this role, you must have your own camera equipment and be able to photograph a moving horse (walking short distances in outdoor summer heat).
