Volunteers are needed every Thursdays to deliver food to the homes of local refugee (mainly Ukrainian) families. Volunteers pick up food from the ACC food pantry in Detroit, which begins distributing at 9am (the line forms at 8:20am). Volunteers can choose the number of families and the locations they would like to deliver to. Macomb County currently has the highest need for deliveries. Volunteers will need to be background checked and go through cultural training.
*Background checks and training are required to volunteer with New American families.
