Job Title: Social Media Coordinator

Overview: Hands on Haiti is seeking a talented and passionate Social Media Coordinator to join our team. As a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of underprivileged children in Haiti, we rely on effective social media communication to raise awareness, engage our audience, and drive support for our cause. The Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies across various platforms to effectively convey our mission, showcase our programs, and foster meaningful connections with our audience.

Responsibilities:

  1. Content Creation: Develop engaging and creative content for social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn. This includes posts, graphics, videos, and stories.
  2. Community Engagement: Actively engage with our social media audience by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Foster a sense of community among our followers.
  3. Campaign Management: Plan and execute social media campaigns to promote fundraising initiatives, events, and awareness campaigns. Monitor campaign performance and adjust strategies as needed to maximize impact.
  4. Social Media Monitoring: Monitor social media channels for relevant conversations, trends, and opportunities to engage. Stay informed about developments in social media marketing and identify new opportunities for Hands on Haiti to leverage.
  5. Analytics and Reporting: Track key metrics and analyze data to evaluate the performance of social media efforts. Prepare regular reports to assess the effectiveness of strategies and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  6. Collaboration: Work closely with the communications team and other departments to align social media efforts with overall organizational goals and messaging. Collaborate on cross-functional projects and initiatives as needed.
