Operation Breast Density is nonprofit dedicated to educating women on Breast Density.

We are currently looking for an volunteer to manage 4 social media accounts (facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, TikTok)  of the organization, updating and with advertisement of fundraising events of the organization.

This organization of run by a Physician/Breast Surgeon. This role is ideal for students interested in the studies of health science, marketing and/or medical students.

This role can be filled by in an internship fashion for a 3-4 month period or can be filled a Committee member of our Nonprofit team for a year long role. 

 

    1. Responsibilities
      1. Designing and implementing social media strategy to align with business goals
      2. Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content DAILY (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news) on all media platforms
        1. Minimal 4 post, 2 stories, & 2 reels a week
        2. For Tik Tok – require 2 videos a week
        3. All media platforms includes – facebook, linked in, Instagram & Tik Tok
        4. Management assisted by Hootsuite platform which combines posting to one platform in order to post to all
      3. Create Flyers and/or Ads for Events in a timely manner to ensure adequate advertisement before event. ( Event flyers need to be up  a minimum of 4 weeks before an event)
      4. Collaborate with marketing team to ensure brand consistency
      5. Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
      6. Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout)
      7. Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
      8. Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
    2. Requirements
      1. Preferred Bachelor Degree in marketing, social media or student in the field
      2. Proven work experience as a Social media manager
      3. Hands on experience in content management
      4. Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
      5. Excellent communication skills
      6. 2-6 hours of work a week that can be committed to the nonprofit
