SAY Detroit

Volunteer Opportunity:
A Time to Help Throw a Baby Shower, Take 2

This opportunity has passed.

SAY Detroit is once again hosting an invitation-only “Baby Shower’’ for mothers and moms-to-be (and parents) who participate in our First Year education and resource program at the SAY Detroit Family Health Clinic. First Year works one-on-one with expecting moms and caregivers to promote health and safety, including safe sleep, during baby’s first year.

We’ll be finishing setting up, then hosting activities and serving guests in attendance. Snacks and refreshments will be available in our volunteer breakout room.

Volunteers Needed: 15

Dress code: Casual (but please no sweatpants; wear comfortable shoes.)

Parking: Free parking in lot across from the center on Pitkin.

More information will be emailed to registered volunteers a week before the event.

NOTE: Volunteer event registration has moved to a new platform: Bloomerang Volunteer. This new platform will be used for all volunteer opportunities with SAY Detroit moving forward. Bloomerang Volunteer is a pretty robust platform and there’s a lot of cool little things we’ll be able to do together — and, it has a mobile app! If you’d like video overviews, you can watch this. If you like to dig into FAQs, you can get started here.

Help supply gifts for the baby shower by shopping the wishlist or sharing it with others: https://bit.ly/3Pn3f4e
