Volunteer Opportunity:

Packing Food Boxes for Seniors

There is always a great need for individuals and/or groups with up to 15 people to package boxes of food. This opportunity is ideal for groups and is done on an organized assembly line. The process is a very rewarding experience. Individual volunteers will be teamed up with an available group so feel free to ask if there are any groups that can use an extra hand!

Volunteers that participate will be "cutting stock", that is Focus: HOPE lingo for opening boxes to prepare to put the commodities in boxes, load on pallets for delivery. This is a moderately physical activity. Long periods of active moving and standing are required.

Dates are flexible. Anyone can volunteer Monday-Friday from 9 am-12 pm OR 1 pm-4 pm any day of the week.
