Volunteer Opportunity:
Host a Toiletry Drive- Personal Grooming Items

This opportunity has passed.

Thank you for visiting our site and for your consideration to help our organization collect personal grooming items for our neighbors in Pontiac. We are challenged these past summer months, keeping our shelves stocked with toiletries. Please share the word and invite others to donate toiletries by hosting a Toiletry Drive. Like all of us, our neighbors need soap, toothpaste, shampoo, deodorant, shavers, laundry detergent, etc. Unfortunately, food stamps do not cover those items. Would you please consider hosting a “Toiletry Drive” this Summer through a group, parish, organization or business? Any amount of donations, big or small is very much appreciated! Together with you, we can make a difference in neighbors’ lives, honoring the intentions of Pope Francis when he says “We have to state, without mincing words, that there is an inseparable bond between our faith and the poor. May we never abandon them.” Toiletry items: Full size Shampoo, conditioner, Men's 3-1 wash, deodorant, razors, shaving cream, bars of soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, hand soap, dish soap, toilet paper & laundry detergent. All items can be dropped off at our office at 132 Franklin Blvd., Ste. 203 Pontiac, MI 48341 or CCRT will send a volunteer to pick up on any Monday from 10am- 2:00pm.
