Volunteer Service - Your way to help local organizations

Thank you for your commitment to volunteer service and all your efforts to help Detroit charitable organizations. Share Detroit’s platform offers you five easy ways to successful volunteer engagement: 

  • Summer group volunteering: Check out the list below of upcoming group opportunities. 
  • Individual volunteer opportunities: Filter and search the volunteer tab by date, activity, interest, or cause. 
  • Skills-based volunteers/projects: Remind employees they can offer their skillset to advance the organization’s immediate needs (i.e., Finance, writing, marketing support). 
  • Board positions:  Recommend professionals in leadership apply to fill an open board position. 
  • Event support: Volunteer groups can make a huge impact by signing up to help at a one-day special event (i.e., Gala, golf-outing, 5K walk, fundraiser).
