What We Do
Aarolyns House of Hope (AHOH) will provide lodging to solid organ transplant families during the transplant process. The house will be a warm and supportive environment, filled with others traveling the same journey and volunteer recipients who have completed their travel. Caregivers will be able to be near their loved one and be available at a moments notices. Recipients will be able to conveniently attend doctor appointments, several times per week, for those critical follow-up evaluations. Aarolyns House of Hope will be located near Henry Ford Hospital in downtown Detroit. The fee for a room, which may have multiple beds, will be provided at the lowest charitable cost possible.
