Advancing Macomb is Macomb County’s conduit for collaborative problem solving. We are a 501c3 organization that provides the philanthropic model and leadership needed to
- Cement partnerships between the nonprofit, public and private sectors.
- Identify and attract resources to fund major projects and programs.
- Bring increased visibility to Macomb County.
Advancing Macomb leverages its executive leadership and regional relationships to uncover and direct resources to communities, programs and projects with the greatest need. We are uniquely positioned to bolster the civic infrastructure of our communities. Examples have included; convening partnerships and funding for placemaking projects and recreational programming in Mount Clemens and Roseville, partnering with the county on the distribution of $1.5 M of CARES Act funds for Macomb based nonprofit organizations, creating a Macomb County Nonprofit Roundtable to encourage nonprofit collaboration, and connecting volunteers to programs and initiatives.
