What We Do
The Arab Community Center for Economic and Social Services (ACCESS) is the largest Arab American community nonprofit in the United States. With 10 locations and more than 120 programs serving metro Detroit, ACCESS offers a wide range of social, economic, health and educational services to a diverse population.
ACCESS strives to enable and empower individuals, families and communities to lead informed, productive and culturally sensitive lives. As a nonprofit model of excellence, we honor our Arab American heritage through community-building and service to all those in need, of every heritage. ACCESS is a strong advocate for cultural and social entrepreneurship imbued with the values of community service, healthy lifestyles, education and philanthropy.

- During the pandemic, we provided 356,000 meals to youth and families, all purchased from local vendors to empower small businesses.
- We gave domestic abuse survivors access to urgently-needed resources by raising over $100,000 through our Pandemic Next Door campaign.
