What We Do

Imagine a world where women know their strengths, are empowered to pursue their dreams, and engage with one another supportively. At A Beautiful Me, we are working toward that future-reality by reaching girls at the critical 5th grade year with our life-giving social & emotional workshops and reinforcing that work through our programs for middle schoolers, teens, and adult women. A Beautiful Me’s MISSION is to create better communities, one person at a time. Female participants in every stage of life will thrive personally and professionally through confidence building workshops, innovative programs, and special events.

Since 2008, A Beautiful Me has reached over 11,000 girls & women in southeast Michigan through workshops, programs & events.
Research shows girls self-esteem peaks at age 9 and plummets from there. A Beautiful Me proactively provides the tools & empowerment to our young girls.
Our big goal is to hire a curriculum writer, copywrite our current & new curriculum, provide girls around the country access to our workshops..
