What We Do
After learning that local elementary children were only eating while at school, we knew we had to help.
Every Friday during the school year CTM sends backpacks home with elementary children.
Those backpacks contain non perishable food for every member of the household. It includes breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks for the entire weekend. The food is purchased during the week, packed into backpacks, and delivered to the school on Friday.
Every week during the summer CTM delivers food to families in need. Get our food list here.
Before the school year ends, CTM holds a food drive for non perishable foods. This food, combined with perishables purchased on delivery day, are packaged for participating families and delivered to their homes once a week. We believe children should never be without food.
