What We Do

CCRT was founded in 2004 as a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization to provide direct supportive and referral services to those with emergency and crisis needs. We also work to build a permanent bridge between 2 populations who live in close proximity, but whose life experiences are worlds apart: those in crisis with urgent, unmet needs. Examples of services we provide include; rental assistance including funds to avoid an eviction, heat and utilities assistance, furniture and household items, food, clothing, identification cards, and toiletries. Toiletries include; personal grooming items, laundry detergent, paper and baby care products. Our 100+ volunteers are also wanting to live out their faith through the works of charity and justice.

Interesting Info
  • Since opening we've served over 20,000 people in the Pontiac Community!
  • 60% of families can't manage an extra $400.00 crisis in a month.
  • We'd love to lift everyone out of poverty!!
