Dearborn Pastoral Counseling Center

Dearborn Pastoral Counseling Center (DPCC) is a non-profit organization, founded in 1984, that provides mental health counseling services. We were established by a group of local churches who wanted to create a faith-oriented counseling program that would provide services in an accessible and affordable manner for clients.  We are on the provider panel for many major insurance companies. For those who are under-insured or have no insurance we provide services on a sliding fee scale.  For those with no insurance and extremely limited financial resources we provide services through our Client Aid Fund that, depending on the financial circumstances, can provide service at no cost to the client.  The Client Aid Fund is made possible by donations from churches, service organizations, and individual donations.

Though our historical base is faith-based counseling, we welcome individuals who have no interest in incorporating faith on their path to improving their quality of life.

We provide both in-office and tele-health counseling services. Clients typically come to us from the counties of Wayne, Oakland, Monroe, Washtenaw, and Livingston counties. With the advent of tele-health services we have served clients from all over Michigan.

The Mission Statement of DPCC, revised in 2024 is "To provide mental health services to individuals, couples, and families at a cost consistent with their ability to pay.  Clients have a choice of faith-based or secular counseling services. We serve all with care, compassion, and respect."
