What We Do
Destined for Greatness is a non-profit that's serves everyone in Metro- Detroit 0-99. We started in 2010 as a mentoring program for youth 11-21 & evolved in 2016 to meet the essential needs of everyone!
Interesting Info
- Since 2010, DFG Mentoring has successfully mentored over 5,000 girls and DFG Community Resource Center has served over 10,000 families, seniors & veterans!
- Studies have found the crime-prone age group (15-39) among black women to be proportionately larger than among black males, particularly in large urban cities
- Our goal is to provide housing, resources and wrap around services to communities of color to decrease crime, food insecurities and unplanned teen pregnancy.
