In Detroit, many students are struggling with underpreparedness for success in life, particularly with math concepts and reading and writing skills. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic has only worsened the situation for these students. Additionally, financial hardships mean that many of them lack access to the resources needed to close the achievement gap. However, there is hope. We at The Detroit Educational Takeover offer cost-free, high-quality academic support to these students, stepping in to fill the gaps and provide the necessary tools for success. With your support, we can continue to make a significant difference in the lives of these students, helping them achieve their full potential and succeed in life.
