What We Do
Elli's House is a nonprofit in Detroit working to abolish sex trafficking in the city through offering safe housing, building relationships, and providing education. These three pillars of our mission are realized through our residential shelter program, our street outreach volunteer team, and by spreading awareness of trafficking by speaking at events such as high schools, block clubs, police departments, churches, and more.
Interesting Info
We are on the streets of Detroit four times a week handing out food, hygiene items, and clothing to those in need.
Last year we spoke at 15 community events to spread awareness on trafficking, and advocate for survivors.
Elli's House was the first runner up in the MLive Nonprofit contest in 2021.
