What We Do
The mission of EMIY is the restoration of families through seeding the lives of boys in prevention and intervention activities. Established by Calvin T. Mann, as a resource for school-aged youth primarily males in need of positive direction and guidance, we continue to implement service & solution-based strategies. Since 2007, EMIY (Encourage Me I’m Young) Inc. has been rebuilding families through developing their boys’ fresh perspective to empower communities through awareness, advocacy and action. Using our mentoring model, we have engaged this 3-fold approach to our work and our boys continue to become compassionate, intelligent and logical decision makers while embracing their abilities to become the future leaders of encouragement and empowerment.
