What We Do
For businesses that don’t want to waste food, our Food Rescue US app connects our volunteer drivers with surplus food that is donated to social service agencies that feed our community.
Interesting Info
- Since we started in 2019, we have distributed over 7.5 million pounds of food to SE Michigan.
- As a response to COVID-19 we distributed food from the Convention Center every Friday for a year.
- In late 2021, we completed our Community Food Hub pilot project with SDM2 Project Education in NW Detroit.
